Implementation of a "10BaseT" Local Area Network. Supplied, installed and tested "10BaseT" cabling for 250+ workstations spanning 3 floors amongst 7 file servers. Each file server has 3 Network Interface Cards. One connects to a common thinnet backbone and the other two connect to assigned concentrators. In 4 fully enclosed well-ventilated cabinets, twenty-five Synoptic 2800 series concentrators, cascaded in groups of 2 to 4, link this network in a centralized control room. Each concentrator port is hardwired to a 48 port, RJ45 Ortronics Patch Panels. Patching from work station to file server via concentrator is accomplished by connecting a 5' RJ45 to RJ45 straight through patch cord from the assigned work station patch panel port to the assigned concentrator patch panel port.
