Supplied and installed a complete fibre optic backbone with an accommodating conduit system amongst 7 floors of the Connaught Building. This project consisted of installing one 2" conduit through the common vertical riser closets between the 7 floors with one 18"x18" junction box in each closet. Approximately 150 feet of 1.50" conduit extended from each junction box to each floor's wiring centre. One 24 strand 62.5\125 multimode fibre optic cable was installed through the conduit from each floor's wiring centre to the main computer room located on the third floor. Each strand of fibre was terminated onto a ST ceramic connector and mounted on a 24 port patch panel. Each strand was tested and labeled with embossed laser printing labels.
