Installed, terminated and tested 2 separate fibre optic backbones to Link Industry Canada with Employment & Immigration Canada Nationwide. This project consisted of installing 2 - 12 strand multimode and 1 - 12 strand single mode fibre optic cable, each 2800 feet long, through 2" conduit, from Place du Portage Phase IV to 2 separate locations in Phase 1. Also installed 1 - 800 foot 12 strand multi mode fibre through 1.5" conduit from the basement of Phase 1 to the 6th floor computer room of Phase II. Although the routing of the conduit consisted of 18 bends and 28 pull boxes, the proper amount of man power and coordination allowed us to successfully pull in all the 2800' runs within 5 hours from the time material was delivered on site. All fibres were terminated, tested and installed onto new 24 port st fibre optic patch panels.
