About Us

GBS Communications Inc. is an Ottawa-based company specializing in integrated network cabling design and installation services. Primary emphasis is the contracting of enterprise-wide network cabling. Entering our tenth year of servicing the Ottawa-Hull area, GBS has grown to become a major force in the cabling industry, employing a dedicated technical field staff of ten people, opening a new office in Toronto, and now servicing customers all across Ontario and Quebec. The talented staff have accumulated enormous expertise and experience in the communications arena, including fibre optics, twisted pair, and broadband and baseband communications systems. The two original partners started the company in 1992, and have since accumulated an impressive list of large reference accounts, including educational, federal, and corporate accounts. The company operates as a privately-held provincially incorporated corporation.

Our target markets will continue to be the school boards, the federal government, and the corporate sector, with an additional emphasis on leads generation. Revenue augmentation will occur through expansion to non-traditional markets, including telephone and cablevision wiring on a sub-contract basis.
